Carbon Neutrality Challenge: Analyse the Role of Energy Productivity, Renewable Energy, and Collaboration in Climate Mitigation Technology in OECD Economies

Carbon neutrality has been widely acknowledged as a challenge to environmental mitigation and global climate change policy. The current study examines the association between collaboration in technologies (CMTs), energy productivity (EP), natural resources rent (NRR), renewable consumption (REC), environmentally related tax (ET) on CO2 emissions for panel dataset of 30 OECD economies from 1990 2020. This paper employs data econometric techniques such AMG, CCEMG, CS-ARDL. empirical outcomes show that CMTs, EP, REC, ET have negative effect emissions, indicating their increase will bring about reduction carbon whereas NRR positive impact suggesting its raise emissions. Most interestingly, REC EP play leading role all selected variables by decarbonizing effectively converting conventional into clean, green process production utilization. Finally, countries are anticipated transition sources, which be validated adoption clean technology short term.
